If you are looking for a chill coffee house, Tryst is your place. Lots of grad students and people working remotely hang out and enjoy the wi-fi and couches. Rise Bakery is a morning go-to for Gluten-Free bagel, croissants, and treats that won't make you miss the gluten. There is also a Starbucks at the corner of 18th and Columbia if that's your addiction. Adams Morgan's reputation a decade ago for mostly for its nightlife but it is more family-friendly than many realize. A fabulous park is at the top of the street with all new playground equipment.
