Watch & Listen to the Waves Crash on the Sand at this Laguna Beach Home

Bob is a great host and he has been very responsive from day 1. I still remember I arrived LAX very late and would arrive the house around 2-3am. He has been communicating with me before my flight and even helped to keep the lights on outside the house so that I have no problem finding the keys. The house is so beautiful and clean. The most amazing part is of course the 180 degree sea view from the living, dining and even the master bedroom. Just open the window to sleep at night and you will be able to hear the sound of the waves very clearly. I will miss this place a lot for sure after I leave. Thank you Bob for all your help and effort to make this a pleasant stay for me.

The views, the views, OMG the views! By far the most welcoming host! Wonderful little touches, like fresh flowers in every room, basic toiletries in case you forgot something and swift response to any inquiries. The house is well laid out for families or friend groups alike. Plenty of room to spread out together or have a private moment on one of the 3 ocean view patios. It’s been well maintained and was well stocked with dishes and glasses for varying needs. The owner just added all new cookware and is very helpful in providing/Lending any missing desired tool. Also tons of towels, pillows and blankets. The owner also generously added a pack n play for guest convenience with baby/toddler. Overall it was really a fantastic place to stay and the owner was right there to address any needs or issues that come up on long stays. We would highly recommend it. Good things to know: Beach: It’s a short, but very steep walk down the hill to the ocean. Not good for strollers but it can be done if you go slow and are careful. Expect a workout on the way back up though. West beach is ideal for less crowds and is walkable to Aliso should you need a beverage or food. Hear: The owner has a beach umbrella, cooler, etc. for use upon request. For the kids: The bottom level is a fenced yard with lawn chairs and hammocks, ideal for little ones to safely run around attended or not (momentarily of course). Heating/Cooling: Like many houses in the area there is no AC and it can get quite hot in the house on warm days, so open the windows and patio doors first thing in the morning to invite the cool ocean breezes in. It cools off a lot at night though and there is a heat setting should you wish to use it. The owner also kindly provided some fan towers. Dining: Abba is a hidden gem nearby and has a fantastic brunch. Great Pizza is at the bottom of the hill next to the playground. Anything else you’ll need to drive into Laguna Beach for good food and drinks.

This was a wonderful place! The house has so many neat touches and is in a great location. You are about a 10 min walk from the beach. Downtown Laguna is a really neat place and is only 15 min away! Disneyland is a 40 min drive. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. It has everything you need for an extended stay. Bob is really easy to work with and is very easy to contact. Highly recommended!
