Decompress in the Zen Surroundings of a Cozy Carriage House

Karl's place was a terrific location for us, quiet area. Outdoor courtyard is private and it's nice to park in front. 3 bedrooms + 3 bathrooms were just right. The living area is small for a rental that can hold 6 people in bedrooms - there is only comfortable seating for 4 so we moved some chairs from the courtyard in so everyone could sit together. Sheets + towels were nice. The smart lock worked well. Owner provided coffee. This Airbnb has seen better days: a) there is mold in the vanity drawers in the upstairs bathrooms; b) there is mold in and around the showers; c) there was rust on the trash cans in the bathroom; d) there is what looked like dried out nasal discharge on the bathroom tile; e) there is bad deterioration from water on the baseboard next to the shower downstairs; and f) the glass cooktop in kitchen was badly stained + needs a good cleaning. I felt we paid a lot to host family and were disappointed. Unfortunately they need a good cleaning and some repairs.

Wonderful place! Great parking!!

This place is pretty, but has seen better days. The bikes from the photos are locked-up and rusting on the patio, the downstairs towel racks on the walls fall off if you touch them, and we did indeed have some waterbugs visit us in the kitchen. App for the door didn’t work so had to split 1 key for all guests. That being said, the location is wonderful. Proximity to Howard, Red Hen, Boundary Stone, Showtime and Big Bear Cafe are great. Reserved parking was wonderful. Lack of table space and general darkness of the building make it not great for work trips.
