Getting around Tulum is easy and flexible, whether you're staying in town or exploring the surrounding areas. Most travelers use a combination of walking, biking, taxis, and local shuttles to move around.

Tulum Downtown is walkable and filled with restaurants, cafés, shops, and local markets. Biking is one of the most popular ways to get around; there are rental shops throughout town and many bike-friendly paths that connect to the beach and nearby cenotes. Taxis are widely available and affordable for short rides, especially to Tulum’s Hotel Zon the famous beachfront strip with world-class beach clubs, oceanfront restaurants, designer boutiques, and vibrant nightlife.

If you're planning to visit cenotes, beach clubs, or Mayan ruins, renting a scooter or car can be a convenient option. Colectivos (shared vans) are an affordable way to reach nearby destinations like Akumal, Coba, and Playa del Carmen. Private drivers are also available for those who prefer a more comfortable and direct experience.

Popular things to do nearby include visiting the Tulum Ruins (about 20 minutes away), swimming in cenotes like Gran Cenote, Cenote Calavera, and Cenote Zacil-Ha, relaxing at beachfront lounges in the Hotel Zone, exploring the Sian Ka’an Biosphere, paddleboarding in turquoise waters, and enjoying Tulum’s vibrant dining and wellness scene with yoga classes, spa treatments, and live music events.

No matter how you choose to explore, Tulum offers plenty of ways to enjoy the area whether you’re biking to a café, heading to a beach club for sunset cocktails, or venturing into the jungle to discover hidden cenotes.

Please note that the apartment is surrounded by natural vegetation. As in most tropical environments, you may encounter insects, including mosquitoes, both inside and outside the property. We recommend using repellent and keeping doors/windows closed when possible.

Please note that the property is surrounded by natural vegetation and undeveloped land, which is part of the authentic Tulum environment.

Please note that stairs are required to access the apartment.

The terrace features a rustic concrete tub designed for refreshing dips and enjoying the outdoor jungle atmosphere. Please note that this is not a jacuzzi and does not have heating. The tub is manually operated, meaning guests will need to fill it before each use and drain it afterward.
